Conductivity sensor measures the ability of solution to conduct an electrical current. Presence of Ions in a solution allows the solution to be conductive. The more of Ion concentration more will be conductivity. The same electrode can also be used to measure Resistivity / TDS / Salinity of Aqueous solutions, if the meter has facility to measure. Depending upon the measuring range of the solution, Conductivity sensor should be used to get accurate results.
